I've gone to Jake for two mortgage transactions now, first when we... bought our home and second when we refinanced. Both experiences were great and I regularly recommend Jake to my friends and family. I shopped around quite a bit the first time around and Jake easily had the best rates and best customer service. He is very responsive to questions and will take time to explain things that might be new to you. I was always impressed with how quickly he got back to me when I had questions, even if I emailed him after normal business hours. If you're new to the mortgage world or even if you've been through the process several times, I recommend giving Jake a call.read more

Jake Taylor and his team at Pilot Mortgage are hands down the best! I... have bought 7 houses and used big banks, and other mortgage brokers and they were ok at best. Jake's customer service is on a whole different level. He takes time to explain the best options and ways to save money. I once received a call out of the blue from Jake and he explained how he could refinance my house and save me thousands of dollars.I have referred my Mom, dad, brother and many close friends to Jake over the years and will continue to do so. I don't even bother calling other companies anymore because I know Jake will get me the best rates possible. Thank you Jake, for always looking out for me and my family.read more

Jake helped us improve our credit rating in a very short period of... time to qualify for better loan percentage rate. He reviewed all of our debt and created a plan for us to pay down certain debt in order to raise our FICO score. By just paying down a couple of debts to lower our debt ratio, our FICO score improved significantly. We are on our way to buying a new home.read more

While at a health fair where I work, I was going from one booth to... the next, I got to where Jake had station himself and we started chatting, telling him I would like to buy, but knew there was just no way for me to afford a home. I had just restarted work in 2013 where I am now after being laid off in 2009. I had worked at Walmart and Dollar tree just to make ends meet.He gave me his card and I later contacted him and he told me of a program that would work for me. He told me to look for a home in the $150K range, so I did. I found a really nice home in San Tan Valley for 147K, it was much more than I needed. I put my earnest money down, and went for the deal. I got the house and when it came time for signing, I got money back including my earnest money. Sure there were a few hiccups along the way, but Jake got it all together... I have been in my home now for 16 months and am pleased as punch! Thanks Jake for all of your hard earned work and I put my trust in him completely...read more
